Bisnis Indonesia reports Australia has invested US$10 million (Rp162.97 billion) in Indonesian solar energy startup PT Investasi Hijau Selaras through Australian Development Investments (ADI).
ADI invested in South East Asia Clean Energy Fund II, managed by Clime Capital, which supports renewable energy projects across Indonesia, including a 1.1 MW system at Lippo Mall Cikarang that lowers electricity costs by 5–10 per cent.
PT Investasi Hijau Selaras is developing 25 solar projects in cities across Java and Banjarmasin.
The goal is to help Indonesia shift to clean energy and reach its net-zero emissions target.
