The inaugural KINETIK Climate Finance Dialogue

KINETIK is delighted to invite you to the inaugural KINETIK Climate Finance Dialogue on February 26, 2025.

The KINETIK Climate Finance Dialogue is designed to share insights and accelerate climate finance initiatives essential for Indonesia’s just energy transition.

Indonesia possesses vast potential for renewable energy, such as solar, wind, and geothermal resources. By harnessing these opportunities while promoting economic development, the country can significantly reduce its carbon footprint. However, realizing this potential requires substantial investment, innovative financing mechanisms, and the collaboration of diverse stakeholders.

Establishing a regular gathering of climate finance stakeholders represents a proactive step toward achieving Indonesia’s ambitious net-zero targets.

The KINETIK Climate Finance Dialogue will involve a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, private sector entities, and civil society organizations.

Event Details:
• Date/Time: 26 February 2025 | 08:15 – 10:00 WIB
• Format: In-person
• Location: Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta Pusat

Our first guest speaker will be Kristy Graham, the inaugural CEO of the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute.

ASFI is working with the Australian Government to create an Australian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy. This will be a tool that Australian companies, investors, and the wider community can use to confidently assess the green claims of economic activities and to confidently invest in and allocate capital to projects that advance net zero.

With a background in sustainable finance and impact investing across the public and private sectors, Kristy led the Australian Government’s work with private and institutional investors to mobilise capital for climate and social impact in Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific.

In this role, she established the Australian Government’s first impact investment fund, designed to build sustainable and inclusive financial markets in Southeast Asia.

Kristy will deliver a keynote address, followed by a Q&A session with participants.

Afterward, there will be opportunities for networking and further discussion.

We would be honoured to have you join us and will share a detailed agenda, along with a formal invitation, in the coming weeks.
